Pointillism / Stippling Worksheet
This plant-themed worksheet allows students of all Secondary Key Stages to learn and practice how to apply the technique of pointillism to complete an image.
Students will apply knowledge of building up tonal values using dots, and can practice by completing the tonal scale at the bottom of the worksheet.
These worksheets have been differentiated and would be most suitable for Key Stage 3.

Tone and Mark-Making Worksheet
A useful and simple worksheet for teaching student about mark-making, and how to create different tones using these.
Students have the oppitunity to create a small tonal scale using the mark-making technique above. They can then apply that technqiue to a 3D objects (with examples to support students).
This resource has been designed for Key Stage 3 students.

Coloured Pencil Tone, Blending and Mark Making Techniques Worksheet
A useful and simple resource for teaching students how to create varying tones using coloured pencil, as well as how to blend colours together and mark-making.
This resource would be most suitable for Key Stage 3 when teaching coloured pencil fundamentals early on, as well as allowing Key Stage 4 or 5 students to practice and recall how to use them effectively/successfully. It may also be suitable for Primary students if applicable.

A useful and aesthetic resource to support students of all Secondary Key Stages in writing about art/artists work.
This worksheet breaks down written work into focus areas: Content, Form, Process, Mood and Context. It also provides sentence starters to further support students for each of these focus areas. This resource is intended to be double-sided, but will still be useful even if this printing option isn’t available.
Suitable for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 / GCSE Art/Artist Analysis.
